  • Monday 40 min run
  • Tuesday (Christmas day! Ate half a goose and heaven only knows how many of those little sausages)
  • Wednesday Ran/Walked for 1 hour with 16kg (Son) on my back. Plus hill sprints in evening.
  • Thursday Ran 18km 1hr 28min
  • Friday 50 min run
  • Saturday 1 hour easy trail run
  • Sunday 37.2 Km in 3 hour 30 mins

Have the Nice prom Classic 10k race this Sunday, hopefully get sub 45min but we will see.

27 Weeks to go

  • Thursday Full day Skiing (Cross training)
  • Friday Half day Skiing
  • Saturday 1.5 hours
  • Sunday Full day Skiing

First week of my holidays combined with the slopes at Isola opening, clear blue skys and Martin turning up did not create a high milage week.

Felt very bad on the Saturday but made good recovery on the Sunday ran for the first time with a sports drink and forced myself to have a mouthful every 15 mins. First time I have finished a long run and could pee! Just had the race pack sent through. A little concerned with some of the wording it looks like we will be 'weighted' at the checkpoints.

A busy week our puppy went missing on Thursday (Bob Jack Russel 7 months old) and has still not turned up Kids keep asking for her and the other dogs are pining. Amy got the Chicken pox on Friday night so Calvin is bound to get it in 10 days should make a great Christmas picture.
